Title: the night does funny things
Author: [livejournal.com profile] empressearwig
Pairing/Fandom: Sports Night/The Good Wife crossover; Dan Rydell/Natalie Hurley, past Will Gardner/Natalie Hurley
Spoilers: All aired episodes of both shows.
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~6000
Disclaimer: I own nothing, this is all for fun. This hasn't happened. Yet. Etc.
Summary: The one where Dan and Natalie get married and Dan meets his identical twin. Sequel to (You) I Thought I Knew You
Author's Notes: So. This was not my idea. The blame for this, and thus the credit, can be placed squarely on the shoulders of [livejournal.com profile] torigates and [livejournal.com profile] normative_jean. I guess I'm sort of grateful. Title comes from the Tom Waits song "I Hope That I Don't Fall in Love With You", which I listened to approximately a billion times while writing. Please don't ask me to explain my brain. But if you want a soundtrack for this story, that's what you should be listening to.

well the music plays and you display your heart for me to see )

Title: (You) I Thought I Knew You
Author: [livejournal.com profile] empressearwig
Pairing/Fandom: Will Gardner/Natalie Hurley; Sports Night/The Good Wife crossover
Spoilers: All aired episodes for both shows.
Rating: R
Word Count: 8709
Disclaimer: I most decidedly do not own either show, and this didn't actually happen, much as I wish it might have.
Summary: The one where Natalie and Will date in college.
Author's Notes: To say that I wrote this for [livejournal.com profile] torigates because she asked nicely would be a lie. I wrote it for her because she nagged. Also, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] normative_jean for fixing my mistakes, even she attempted to make that come with strings attached. Finally, title is from R.E.M.'s Nightswimming, which I listened to at least 100 times while writing.

Author's Notes: Originally posted here. Written for [livejournal.com profile] lauriestein for Yuletide 2010. Title is from the Pablo Neruda poem "There is No Forgetting." Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] torigates, [livejournal.com profile] summerstorm, and [livejournal.com profile] normative_jean for looking at various stages of this.

Author's Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] femgenficathon. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] normative_jean and [livejournal.com profile] leobrat for serving as sounding boards. To be safe, spoilers for the whole first season, but all the events of the fic all take place before the show starts.
